Hello.
I too wanted to get EBII to run in windowed mode, but the solution provided here did not work for me. Instead, I added 'windowed = true' to the [i]medieval2[i].cfg in the main medieval 2 directory and now it works fine.

What should I do if I want the windowed mode in fullscreen?
Then you modify both the resolution and the windowed parameters, I believe.
battle_resolution
campaign_resolution
windowed

As far as I know, you cannot play in borderless windowed mode like you can in Rome 1 and Rome 2. But you can play it on full resolution and it's almost as good.
Holy @#$% I could kiss you right now. Thanks so much, Palt! Works for me too.
