    Got this title around 1350 in Castile (playing spain GA, early, normal). It gives +3 loy, +1 comm, +1 acc. The time I saw it, I was still building (2/3) the master bowyer. Does anybody got this or other titles without a building?

    Form the early.txt

    AddOffice:: FN_SPANISH royal_palace "Lord Chamberlain" +2 +2 0 0 0 0 0
    AddOffice:: FN_SPANISH constables_palace "Captain of the Stables" +2 0 0 2 0 0 0
    AddOffice:: FN_SPANISH marshals_palace "Captain-General" +2 0 0 2 0 0 0
    AddOffice:: FN_SPANISH chancellery "Keeper of the Privy Seal" +3 1 0 1 0 0 0
    AddOffice:: FN_SPANISH admiralty "Lord High Admiral" +1 0 0 2 0 0 0
    AddOffice:: FN_SPANISH cathedral "Archbishop of Toledo" 0 2 0 0 3 0 0

    I must say i started a early english normal game and the spanish had the keeper of the privy seal with no royal castle let alone a chancellery. This was around 1160ish i suppose and i had views of all there territories.

    Maybe I missed that the general who had the title was killed. There were some inquisitions going on in spain (as usual).

    Thanks for the info

    I have an 8 star spanish general (originally was prince Garc) and he carries this title. Is this title just a name change from chancellery or something?

    The titles that result from the Chancellery building are named differently according to faction.

    Chancellery:
    Almohads - Grand Vizier
    Byzantines - Chancellor of the Palace
    Egyptians - Grand Vizier of the Palace
    French - Chancellor
    Italians - Chancellor of the Major Council
    English - Chancellor of the Exchequer
    Germans - Imperial Chancellor
    Polish - High Chancellor of Poland
    Spanish - Keeper of the Privy Seal
    Danes - Chancellor of Denmark
    Turkish - Grand Vizier
    Russians - Chancellor of All The Russias

    You bestow this title on your general, I think you can check a box to do this automatically, the same as bestowing the governorship of provinces.

    Maybe after the building for this title was built,and the title was bestowed on a general, it got destroyed in a battle for the province, an earthquake or flood? That would be my guess.

    Hey Guys,

    Shaitan, when you get these titles without buildings, make the most of them. They usually offer command and accumen bonuses.

    I suggest giving them to governers of you highest income provinces, or give them to your smartest generals, then make these guys governers, so you can reap the maximum management benefit from the title.

    I checked it. The title appeared because a Grand Inquisitor from the papacy was burning some generals. I think my 7 star assassin will get a new assignment ;-).
