Default Steam Graphs - Alltime Rome2 peak was 15 Feb

So I was checking the steamdb.info site for any updates to Rome2 in the hope of indications of a new patch, noticed that there are graphs there
    https://steamdb.info/app/214950/graphs/

Not sure how reliable this is but quite fascinating stuff.

The 24hr peak 20,923 is not far short of the all time 38,684.
That alone was fairly surprising but actually the all time peak was only as recent as 15 Feb. (was a free weekend I think)
Next highest peak was just after the Emperor Edition release & generally considerably more players since Emperor Edition than in the months before.

Attila has started off with a bang, couple of 26k spikes but more sedate 19k 24hr peak.
    https://steamdb.info/app/325610/graphs/

Both pale in comparison to 1.25million on DOTA2, 450k on Counter Strike: Global Offensive, but overall they are ranking Rome2 & Attila as 17th & 18th overall https://steamdb.info/graph/
Curious that loads of much more nominally successful titles languish well down the list with far fewer players
maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...

That is indeed pretty intriguing. Might be too strong to say EE "saved" R2, but clearly it had a strong impact on the game's fortunes. And really interesting that R2 experienced its all-time peak just a couple of weeks ago. It did coincide with the MWNL2 contest, but hard for me to believe that really caused such a large spike.

I'd also be interested in seeing what the R2 graph looked like during the Sep '13 - Feb '14.

Attila does seem to be off on a strong start. And well deserved, in my opinion.

After sleeping on it, it looks like 'all time' = within last 12mths only.
So fair probability there was a higher peak back in Sept 2013 after launch & then a gradual taper down to June/July 2014 low.
maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...

Well, the graph only shows the last 12 months, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the "all time high" of 38.6K (2 wks ago) is confined within that timeframe. Rather ambiguous. Would be nice if that website was able to show a longer-term graph.
