    i dont know if this has happened to you but do stacks of troops belonging to rebels just join you out of the blue?
    in my game, as the byz, two huge stacks of soldiers just appeared in england for me
    thanks but why?

    Well that has happened to me lots of times... Italians 1365.
    All of the 8 rebel provinces belong to me. I thought I would have to use them as target practice but o well. And then I won the game at 1366 owning 60% of the world on expert level.

    Certainly heard of it and seen it happen for AI factions but not myself. I once saw the Novograds kicked out of a home province that had owned for 50 + years. It rebelled and the rebels joined the Byzantines, i'm pretty sure it wasn't a bribe because the unit would have flashed for a turn.

    BTW 'wierd' is spelt weird.

    A rare exception to i b4 e except after c rule.
