    Hi Brennus,
In EB 1 IIRC there were Thorakitai Hoplitai and also a later more heavily armoured macedonian phalangitai.
Are these units or their equivalents going to make an appearance in EBII or are they already subsumed under existing units?
    Thanks
    Vermin

Thorakitai Hoplitai are replaced by the KH version of the Epilektoi Thorakitai. There are no heavily armoured Phalangitai planned so far.
It began on seven hills - an EB 1.1 Romani AAR with historical house-rules (now ceased)
Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
    Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR

    Thankyou for the reply.
Are there no plans for more heavily armoured phalangitai because the EBI units were not historically accurate or is it a lack of resources for the team?
    Regards

I don't think there are any such plans. The Agema Phalangitai are pretty heavily armoured.

Thanks - Are the Agema Phalangitai recruitable by Epiros/Macedonia? I don't recall seeing them in their rosters or do they use Hypaspists as their elite guard unit?
    Regards

Hi Vermin, I guess we should be able to recruit them in the summer release, the updates in 2.03 do not include new units.

    Regards.
