    Thumbs up Oriental Empires

Maybe I was just asleep when this was mentioned, but did anyone else notice that a couple of MTW2 heavy hitters from the past have been busy working on a game, how cool is that: http://www.incgamers.com/2015/04/ori...total-war-devs

Its about time someone brought a TW like game to ancient china. I'm looking forward to this

I'll admit I'm definitely intrigued based on who is working on it, move MTW2 and Shogun 2, so seeing this news was cool.

Here's another random game reference, while based back in Japan again, still interesting as well: http://www.koeitecmoeurope.com/games...-of-Influence/

Yeah, I've been anticipating this one for a while now. R.T. Smith was the lead developer for Armada 2526, which quickly became one of my favorite space 4x titles. And since he was also instrumental in the original Shogun and Medieval Total War, that means he's been involved in three of my favorite strategy games of all time. So given that he's now behind this venture, combined with my long having wanted to see a new grand-strategy game set in ancient China, this is almost certainlyi going to be a Day-One purchase for me.
