A potential CTD bug with Crusades.

Another post jogged my memory and so i just mentioned this in another thread. It happened to me a while back and i remember meaning to post about it ages ago but forgot.

On one occasion in a campaign i remember a crusade of mine destined for the middle east causing me a crash to desktop. Basically the situation was my crusade attacking a Byz province with the help of another friendly force (can't remember the faction). Anyway, instead of carrying out the battle i autoresolved it and was astounded when my crusade took more casualties than it had men left The next turn, boom, it crashed to desktop.

On a few other occasions i have had crashes to desktop, but on these occasions i've had no idea as to the reason. It could be because the AI is doing something similar with their crusades, who knows, but i thought i'd bring to CA's attention anyway so they can investigate my finding.

solution: always fight your battles personally, unless it's like 500 to 10 or something. The autoresolve is the cpu's cheating mechanism......
