I been planning on traveling to Europe soon. Is there any nations you guys suggest I go (or not go)? I was thinking Central/Eastern Europe in general.

Belgium is super cool, loved my time there. Amazing if you like beer and old cities. If you want nature and you can afford it, go to Norway. The physical beauty of that place is unsurpassed.

What you guys think a proper amount of time should I spend in the nations I like to visit? I can probably swing at least 2, maybe 3. I was looking at the following:
Switzerland
Austria
Germany
Italy
Croatia
Norway
Scotland
And since Hooahguy mention Belgium, I'll even considered going there since I do like to visit some old cities plus I don't mind Beer. I put in bold the two I am focusing at with a optional third pick.

Germany and Austria would be on the top of that list imho
France.
Everything else is a poor imitation.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
France, Dresden, Budapest, Leningrad, Istanbul.
France is awesome, but only if you want to spend your whole holiday there, most parts are really unestering. Southern-Germany is perfect for a trip, Prague to party.
Edit, if you like medieval fortess-towns I recommend my town Amersfoort, Netherlands http://straatkaart.nl/3813EZ-Grote-S...mersfoort-xTE/

Can vouch for this. Amersfoort is pretty cool. Not all that much to do though other than walk around and take in the sights of the old part of the city. Thankfully when I visited there was a jazz festival going on so that was pretty cool but otherwise there doesnt seem to be a whole lot going on.
But if I had to pick one old city that I would absolutely visit again it would be Antwerp. Holy hell that city is gorgeous. The city just seems to be so full of life, its awesome. A perfect blend of old and new things to see and do if you ask me.

There is A LOT going on, you just need to know where. Amersfoort isn't in the Times top 40 of top-tourists attractions for nothing, there are 30 restaurants in my street alone. I didn't really had the time to show you around because my friends kept crashing in but it's absolutily packed with good bars and restaurants, as well as one of the best preserved historical centres in general. You should come again to see the nightlife.
Jazz-festival is just one of the many festivals, there is one almost every weekend. If you are in around again I'll take you to Cuba Libra, if you don't score a hot girl I am dissapointed in your existance.
