CA is overdoing it, trying to complicate the rock-scissor-paper tactic. Cavalry was divided into light and heavy, not into light, shock, heavy or anti-cavalry.
I dissagree somewhat - in that there definately was a distinction between shock cavalry and melee cavalry. it's just that the shock cav in Attila seem to use their lances - stat wise - rather than their swords in melee
