There are enough bad things that happen daily to have 24 hour news a day that never repeats.

Kenya is a long way away. I'm far less concerned about what happens there than I am in Paris.

I double dare anyone to try and empathize with all the misery in the world. You won't last a yoctosecond before going crazy.

I'm surprised the guilt shaming brigade hasnt shown up yet to disparage people for not bursting into tears over every sad bit of news.
