With the way this year has been I wasn't hopeful either of them would pull through but this is still a tremendous shock and so very sad.

That just means not getting worse or better. Medical lingo for getting better is signs of improvement. Her heart wasn't beating for 15 minutes. Best case scenario is she'd have moderate brain damage. I'm start in to think she was brain dead and they were just keeping her on life support until the family could make a decision.RIP Carrie Fisher.
