hello, i wonder if any mods was ever created for this game ?
in particular i wonder if there is a mod that fixes the bug that causes the game to crash when i attempt to pull out a unit from the castle,
like when i have created a new unit and want to make use of it.

Unfortunately, what you describe is a bug in the game engine, which cannot be modded. There is nothing available to fix that.

other than that, this is my favorite strategy game, other TW didnt measure up combat wise,

Very true. None of the other TW games quite had the simplicity and elegance that S:TW had.
