Enabling battle logs

I see several references to battle log files in posts by LadyAnn and others...but not how to enable them. The logfiles directory on my system is empty (except for the placeholder). I don't see it on any option menu. Is this a post-patch item?

you must enable to logs feature by checking the option in the Options section of the MTW opening menu.

I looked in the Options off the main menu (and the single player menu too) and saw no option for logfiles. Am I blind or is this because I have not yet patched?

It is on the bottom of the menu. It is a box you must put an X in.

Logfiles weren't available before the 1.1 patch. I can't remember but it's very likely that option wasn't even there in version 1.0.
