    The latest news are about a Venice "micro" roster development. Venice was under Roman (Byzantine) Rule and gained its autonomy by giving a large fleet to the Empire. The player that will play the Roman (Byzantine) Empire will have two choices. Either to grand Venice autonomy and recieve a tribute or refuse and face a large scale Venetian uprissing. In either way Venice will take Pope's side (Pope in TGC mod is simply a faction and can not call crusades) after the 1054 Schism event that devide Christianity.
    It includes a large variety of unique animations:
    Horse archery:

    Lance waving banners:

    Unique crossbow animation:

    The nearest crossbowman is ready to shot. The one on his left drags the bolt from its quiver and the next one (a bit furhter) places the bolt on the crossbow after he tunned the string.
    That is why i always say again and again that TGC must be played on the field. All our friends from the TGC Fellowship added a huge ammount of detail to make this mod as accurate and enjoyable as possible.
