Imprison all of those whose ideologies are abhorrent to us? Confiscate all firearms of any kind? I've gone on record here before to note that racism and white supremacy is stupid and flies contrary to any discernible fact. I don't know of a practical way to outlaw stupidity.
Short of a 'Big Brother' -esque police state, how could you truly deter such deplorable things as this massacre. And I am talking practicality here, not desirability. I am certain all of us on this site would love to see such events vanish from the human experience.
