04/12 Mafia Game - Signups Open

Standard rules apply. If we get more than 9 players I can do something a little spicy, otherwise it'll mostly be a pretty simple game.

36/12 or 48/24, let me know what you want.

Game will run with 9 players minimum.

Rules:

Rules:
• Either 36/12 or 48/24 phases, depending on what you guys want.
• You may not talk after death unless specified.
• Don't quote anything I say to you. Paraphrasing is fine.
• No screenshots, etc.
• You may NOT talk to players outside the thread unless otherwise specified in your role PM.
• You will vote for players you want lynched during the day, using the format, Vote: Visorslash. Votes must be in bold to count. If you wish to unvote, simply: Unvote; Vote: ATPG.
• If you are replaced or WOG killed, please do not post in the thread.
• Votes that end in a tie will be decided by random lynch.
• No lynch is allowed as is abstain.
• Don't edit posts please
• If you miss a day phase I will message you and see whats up. Missing two days is an instant modkill, if you need a sub please tell me before that happens.
• Have fun. This is not an option . If you don't think you'll have fun with this game... don't join it.
• Alignment will be revealed on death.

We've played a few on CFC lately, hopefully we can get 5 or 10 from there.

Yeah, that was fun. If people are down for that I could do it again, sure.

Not sure about night chat. Don't want people to feel like they have to play in the night as well.

tbh I am crazy enough to play two role madness games simultaneously or in a row, but it's not everybody's cup of tea.

Visor, of that list I know Zack, GH, Winston, Logic, DP, Cuth, Double A and Bsmith are/have recently been active on MU. If you haven't contacted them there it might be worth a shot to do so.


This is a bit of a stretch, but Barto figures we can simultaneously run a game on CFC and I'm hosting. (So far everyone signed up here participated in the latest CFC game )

Town (Town roles do not start aware of each other)
7 vanilla (Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Italy, Japan, Australia)
West Germany (FRG): Cop. Can only identify East Germany.
South Korea (ROK): Cop. Can only identify North Korea.
America (USA): Doctor. Can stop kills from anyone, but loses ability once FRG and ROK are dead. Is alerted when Mafia successfully identify a Town PR.

Mafia
East Germany (GDR): Goon.
North Korea (DPRK): Goon.
Soviet Union (SSSR): Rolecop. Cannot kill until both GDR and DPRK are dead. Can perform double scans N1 and N4.

Some updates that could help this game run smoother:

I have 8 or 9 firm players for my CFC game of 13 players, so that should be able to run Monday 11/25 because

@Zack @Csargo @Choxorn @Logic

as reserves for that game, if you guys finalize we can definitely start Monday, and you will have at least a week before Visor's game launches here, minimizing any overlap or conflict and averting scheduling difficulties around the holiday season. It's probably the best timing available for the rest of 2019.

C'mon this game, get get get ins. Shanghai MU denizens. The last time the Org was revived we managed 28 players, let's hit at least half that.

I invite dyachei, wolfy, and okboomer to enter the roughly contemporaneous game (starting sometime in early December) on Civfanatics. It shouldn't be burdensome to participate in as the intensity of activity is typically 10-20% of equivalent Mafia Universe games.
