I was defending Barto all day. But I was the only one.

You are correct here - when I was talking about Barto being spewed by wolfy people pushing him, ladd and GH are the people I had in mind. And also Cuth: who didn't actually Barto, but he didn't not push him either as he included him in his possible wolf list. But mainly I was talking about ladd and GH.

I saw someone point out that those 2 weren't even the main pushers on El Barto - he was mostly pushed by Zack and you also agreed with it, and I since the two of you are my top villager reads, someone, maybe even more than 1 person, had argued that my point about Barto being spewed is moot since the people I think are wolfy that scum read Barto have actually barely pushed him. But to me, ladd's and GH stances on Barto look exactly like how wolves treat consensus scum read villagers - call them wolfy and then sit back while another villager (Zack) does all the dirty work of convincing others to vote them.

I'm trying to think if I can give you something more other than it just seems natural to me. The answer is sadly no =/ It just strikes me as him giving his... unfiltered? impressions of things. He isn't trying to force any conclusions with his comments which makes it look genuine. He has very little volume and I know it's not a good town case but I think the reasons to wolfread him are way, way worse. It's literally just Zack's two post read where he said that El Barto was wolfy for not voting me along with his joke. That's literally it. It's an okay read to make 5 minutes into the game, but I just checked and Zack actually never updater his read, the only time he gave something else was this post:

Which is like, sure it's unproductive, but villagers cast votes on non contributors all the time as well. He never commented on Barto's read post.

I do think Monty looks better, and I'm less comfortable with my company on that wagon

plus Barto is definitely pretty low-key

I know the first is kinda self explaining but I wanna know exactly how you felt about people on both wagons at that point and what made you switch like that

that's the thign that kinda makes me fear this game maybe not be super easy as we are thinking since after that EoD I feel empoof would be the nk only if choxorn is a wolf or if wolves are paying attention and PR read him as well

to add some context, this was the votecount at the time where cuth switched from monty to barto cause he said wagon composition looked better

monty was trending up relatively heavily, i've been reading zack soundly villager all game, and i also thought empoof was town-- my only real hesitation there was gh wolf-reading him pretty strongly

didn't and still don't really have much of a personal opinion on ladd's alignment

at this point i was on board with the idea of el barto because, like i said (more or less), he typically has a certain fire that was, as zack pointed out, definitely lacking

also i think there's been a similar lynch in the past with me on the wrong side? something like that

i remember this being a Thing before

but the other option was just a completely disengaged village barto who'd been about the most talked about person this game, and that wouldn't be a terrible lynch either if it came to that

also while i was initially reading pzelda as villagery because his posting was too awkward, other people who actually knew him were saying otherwise so that was trending down

but i didn't have as much reason to go there or anywhere else, barto was the strongest wolfread i had apart from private tinfoils which were coming in and out of style throughout the phase

my problem with that is i think insaner might be bad, so unless he's willing to stake a VERY strong claim on something that he can be held accountable for i'm reluctant to follow his lead

If pzelda is town I wouldn't knock insaner for it.

Though I'd pay attention to how his reaction and PoV shifts based on the knowledge during day 2

i feel good about the goods except maybe zack which i don't really understand, but everyone that seems to know him is in agreement so willing to go with it. he has posted a lot anyways

ladd and insaner r pretty similar to me in that they both feel artificial in some posts, like i should think they're good but i read their posts and just don't. they probably aren't together though so might be something i can figure out overnight

i dont have strong feelings on the Big Three of montemorency, pzelda, el barto. the first/third of those feel like they were my standard d1 "kill someone at random" wagons, but then it just stayed there despite everyone posting a lot. neither seem to all that much care that they are being killed either and idk what to make of that

alrighty, merl1n d1 is really wolfsided and not as villagery as I remember

still feel his mindset on the "last one to talk seems right" is something hard to fake as a wolf

so would still lean on him being a villager

Empoof was on Barto too until he hopped off to join me so that wagon looks pretty pure to me.
My vote on Choxorn was only half serious when I made it anyways so I'd rather sheep my town reads at this point than vote on someone I think is probably just rand.
