Thread: Never too old!

    Default Never too old!

    Just purchased Total War: Shogun 2 Gold Edition after a gap of 19 years since I last played Total War; Shogun.
    At the ripe old age of 68, I feel I have amassed sufficient maturity to at last lead and conquer, hopefully.
    Looking forward to reading all the guides, questions and answers, and many grateful thanks. in advance, to the members who have spent hundreds of hours researching and writing these works, and helping other members.

    Diceman, welcome to the Org! Welcome to our corner of the internet!

    Enjoy all of the S2TW guides, enjoy the game and come back often!
    Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

    Been to:

    Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

    A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

    Welcome indeed, Diceman. Never too old to conquer the world I've been playing TW games since, ooh, about 1275BC*... and I'm still finding depth in the old Shogun as well. Don't know if my machine will stretch to Shogun2, but good luck with it, and let us know how you get on

    * mods required, of course

    Mods are not always required.

    But I do agree, they make some games much better, particularly the older ones. So enjoy them!

    I think we will have Troy TW for that in the future.
