    Default SSD Specifications

A rather simple / quick question - I'm looking into upgrading my laptop with an SSD. It currently has a hybrid, an SSHD, and when I do the change, do I need to look out for anything specific?

Can I buy a 6" SSD and pluck it in like a normal HDD / SSHD?

You just need to find one compatible with your laptops motherboard, they usually have a website where you can check the compatibility either the manufacturers website or the laptop vendors possibly. As long as your laptop isn't super old, you'll probably be fine, but I'd probably check compatibility just to be safe. So you won't have to worry about purchasing something then potentially having to return it.
