Sure, I won't disagree that it's easier to fake, but process of elimination is a basic tool that is central to the game, regardless of what day in the game it is.I think I made that clear in the post you quoted, but oh well.

Further, if the implication is that on D1 there's not enough information for a POE, that would be strange, because a lack of information is perhaps all the more reason TO have form a POE.
If I have people that I'm able to V read, it makes sense that I exclude them.
If there's nothing enormously damning being posted by those I can't get a proper fix on, it makes sense to have them in my POE.
I don't have any issue with someone saying that POEs can be faked, or that they disagree with my conclusions (provided they add why they disagree), but I do take issue with the claim that POE being used on D1 is inherently wrong, bad, or dumb.
It's just a means to narrow down who my suspects are and figure out wolves, and whatever means I have to sort through however much or little content there is from each player and solve the game, I will use.

I understand he can be a bit formal/stilted in his writing in general but it was mostly a Poe thing if you look through my explanations on the reads

To expand on mischief: I go to lengths to explain how slight the read is (I think i use the word 2/3 times)
I guess a vote is a vote, but the strength of the counter reaction is a little bit of a shock

Slots like that I wait to see whether I'll get a feeling for their alignment as they post.
In the case of my nulls, those slots I read a number of posts from, and was still left uncertain.
Should any of the wait-to-see slots not gravitate in either direction, they too will find their place in the POE, unless they gravitate into a proper scum read, in which case the POE is examine and evaluated for potential partners in case of being correct on the scumread, and a vote is placed on the scum read.
That's basically my process.

Not FOL. I am aware of everything I post? I don't make idle posts in ww games, even posts that seem lazy and noncontributive are done with an eye towards how I think I will be perceived, how I want to be perceived and how I need to be perceived.
Any villager worth their salt should be consider their posts.

I don't think this is something that is uncommon for ww players. I think anyone who has played with me prior in games would agree with that

But ok, there are a lot of people who I think are town who say Visor's town, and without Visor I have no reason to sus you. Any chance you could pick someone other than Lantana to vote for? What's your take on Ephemeral and Dyachei since they joined so late?

Rask's posting in this stint seems totally fine and Dya saying this is not how they wolf is good enough for me day 1. I also have a soft spot for people that just lol at me. No buddying, not trying to turn the tables. Just "lol you're silly" and move on.
Insomnia pinged me for reading rask "for sunbae" because I was pretty clear on the idea that I had no real wolf case and it was just vibes/mixture of my other reads. I didn't ask anyone to read Rask, to vote Rask, to sanity check me or anything. I just voted someone and moved on with my day. So for Insomnia to piggyback off of my vote, credit it to me, and throw on an additional two reads has me on alert when I get back to the thread and think Rask has been fine.

Ephemeral has had sharp takes and I'm going to suggest bluntening via force trauma but I'm not super confident if that is good or we should take a lighter touch.
So if we assume I'm wrong Dya is a wolf and Ephe is town.
