I played it a bit, it's decent, slowly improving to a solid game. There are some interesting new mechanics which I like, such as the politics system, but you can game it rather easily so you can gather resources much better.

Not a fan of the whole resource split to be honest, it makes the game rather resource-oriented.

I am still sitting on the fence to get it. Have to see more about it.

Played a bit more, finished 2 campaigns actually, I'm quite surprised at the variety of units and the way that regional recruitment is being made. It gives off a solid regional flavour for each part of the map and I really like that.

Large variety of units, great positive surprise.

Getting close to about the 80 hour mark (didn't play all the hours, sometimes I idled the main menu because the UI / game menu graphics are quite pretty) and as a more or less final review, Pharaoh TW is a solid game, worth buying. At the 30-40 euro / dollar mark, it is worth it.

Especially when you get Pharaoh Dynasties together with it.
