The reason I didn't shoot n1 is the other side of the coin from my poisoning Robyn in the last game, I wanted to make a shot I was comfortable with in a small game given little room to move, and I didn't feel comfortable making a shot n1

There is obviously never going to be a wolf vig in a 13er, C'mon now

i think achro posted 90% nonsense yesterday, similar to how he played in the last game, i didnt get a genuine sense from him that he was actively trying to put the game together to be solved. sure he posted shit that seemed like it could be solving, but take the whole picture of his play and i think it really comes across as just pushing people in different direction to careen like a pool break into others and mess with the thread cohesion

im kinda assuming that they werent visited by a villager personally but we know where the poisoner landed and the factional kill and he claimed a role that would not have visited so

if i look at it objectively, and assume the poisoner is a villager (im not convinced a town poisoner would target the guy who claimed PR at eod but) then we can assume wolves have some sort of PR

id wager rolecop/roleblock (or JK)

could be missing some possibilities but those seem like the two most likely candidates. could be a different investigative role but the target pools for wolf investigation roles are usually the same bar watcher

so like. ok does visor ever get roleblocked last night. probably not id imagine the roleblock would land on the gyu who claimed PR if ur not killing him, or if ur poisoning him (rb+poisoner feels like a weird combo) but since we know it didnt then we would have to assume if a RBer exists there was a very good reason for it to target outside of ender. i don't really THINK that reason exists its not IMPOSSIBLE for the wolves to think he was a PR i guesssssss but it feels really unlikely unless i open his iso and i feel like it screams PR which i am too lazy to do rn

a rolecop otoh could rly land anywhere. i actually do believe that if the wolves have a rolecop theres decent odds it targeted visor because i think that world would be one where ender is a wolf trying to bring visor down with him. but if we assume ender is town then like... hm. i mean its kinda hard to guess where that lands. i think its possible i guess. presumably they dont rolecop the pr claim or ladd and if theres 3 wolves then that leaves like 8 people. i think i get rolecopped pretty often in my games but really thats anecdotal so objectively if i wanted to be super generous i could say this has like a 20% chance of happning which is almost certainly above the realistic odds of this happening

i refreshed and saw mention of the possibility of a wolf firefighter/visitor, which. meh, i feel like it doesnt REALLY fit here but maybe rask was inspired by champs. reasonably... well lets use the same logic as abve, doesnt target the PR claim or ladd, doesnt target a wolf. 8 names. possibility for overlap here but lets assume there's none, i dont think a role like that lands on benneh/cuth/taffy gun to head. maybe a few other names, mostly thinking it doesnt land on someone whos kinda consensus villager and doesnt likely get investigated. i could see it landing on visor i guess. i dont know how likely id put it. a pure 1/5 would be another 20% and... idk i guess that feels reasonableish.

i do think it's likely wolves have some sort of PR, maaaybe 2.




as for the other side of the point

if we assume visor is mafia, what are the odds of him doing the factional kill? i can see it happening over like... insom SK pretty easily. i soulread achro as not wanting to carry it. ladd ender obv out of the question. same as myself but i also probably wouldnt want to carry it anyway because #THEFEAR

Katze asked me a q and the tldr is that I made an imaginary line between "every move is methodically calculated and every step carefully measured, every word has a meaning in my master plan" type of wolves and "push villas be loud be wrong with confidence don't give a fuck further wincon while looking villagery" type of wolves. I think dya push on me falls on the second category but I think they are the first type of wolf. I think benneh can play the second type. Not sure about cuth, prolly first type

Okay this is beginning to get annoying

First: it Is entirely possible that I was visited by members of both alignments. It is entirely possible I was roleblocked or rolecopped or whatever else from wolves (especially if the reads I had that were against the grain were correct!), it is also possible for villagers to have targeted me with particular powers too (I could see a villager targeting me with a rb for some reason).

Then we come to the matter of the poisoning of ender. If you believe ender to be a villager, then you should believe the poisoner to be a wolf because HE CLAIMED PR AT EOD. WHY WOULD A VILLAGE POISONER POISON A CLAIMED PR. If you then understand that the poisoner is likely a wolf, you should be able to come to the correct conclusion that I have to be a villager.
Yes, I did express a ‘strong’ read against achro sod2, I did consider shooting him n1, but I thought I should wait and see what d2 brings, because I am not the player I once was who put in a lot of effort into games, so when I make a game warping shot in a 13er, I want to have confidence that its not going to backfire horribly, so I came in.

Seeing motion in my vicinity is not some stupid goddamn slam dunk, and its besides the point when I can actively prove my ability tonight.
Just because you/others would have played this role a certain way, don’t fucking project your shit onto me. I made a bad decision in the last game I played here and I wanted to make up for it in this game.

This Is a closed game, wolves are almost certain to have multiple prs, especially if we have a motion detector (it seems reasonable for a rask game) and a vig.

If ender is a wolf poisoned, he doesn’t claim fucking MD to get the person who already had a high chance of dying dead. Hes a villager who has an actual result on me who thought I might be a wolf. Hes a villager, who IMO, was likely poisoned by a wolf poisoner, given the fact he claimed PR outright and this isn’t some inactive game where people wouldn’t see it. It was a deliberate decision.

(on a side note, I think the straight forward kills of ladd/poisoning ender speak towards achro being a wolf but that’s neither here nor there)
I can understand being hesitant to let someone you cant get a good read on live who is repping kp, but frankly, ive been heavily scumread all my recent towngames so perhaps yall should adjust your expectations around my play accordingly, I feel like if I take a game easy on d1 its just immediate oh he isn’t showing joie de vivre, therefore he has to be a wolf, as if its some lazy tell you can just magic into existence.
I don’t really like pointing to meta as a defence, but part of the reason I won my last wolf game here was that I played it very smoothly, didn’t give any real jagged edges for people to latch onto, like I do when I play my dgaf village game. You can see it when I get heat, I change my mind from post to post, I don’t play in a typical a-b-c village game because even though that is the best for being village read, its really bloody boring and ive never really cared about being village read as a villager (except sometimes as pr :P)

For the most part it is hard to parse the responses to the claimed motion – most people as wolves will double down on it because its an easy kill that gives them no blame, and as villagers it plays into our sense of confirmation bias that oh we were right to notice that niggling thing that we never mentioned – “he always seemed a little off/strange… etc”

For the most part I am waiting to see what benneh says when he comes back, i think he is probably going to be the most even keel if he is a villager.

Surprisingly don’t like cuths reaction, cuth seems to me to be someone who would be considering every angle, so having lost the guaranteed red peek on me, clutching to it and not considering well maybe it could be something else, just something that stands out.

Don’t know what to make of katzes wall considering the possibilities of me being a villager mismotioned, seems a little like busy work but ymmv.

Honestly ender, I think you should’ve been able to get there on me idk, I don’t think I played anything like that wolf game you referenced earlier, I think people just see low energy and think well has to be a wolf.
Don’t know if I have anything else to say at the moment, but seeing people say nonsense while not able to post is tilting the fuck out of me so im just writing my MAD down here . :P

Taffy is definitely not getting their hands dirty in this fight fwiw – if you look at their post about me/ender earlier its just very…. Middle of the read well if enders fake we kill him, no actual thinking about the situation or what it could mean, just a commentary on what potential action we might take down the line.
Might as well elaborate on the ladd kill re achro – if I was a wolf id probably not kill ladd n1 (well, I definitely didn’t last time lol), simply because it is extremely boring to me and wolfing against good players is part of the fun to me. Killing ladd is unfortunately likely to happen from most of you so it isn’t really a good point but when I wolfed with achro, he was a proponent of keeping it simple in that regard, and the killing of ladd and poisoning of ender just feels like an achro type of kill, poison the claimed pr, kill ladd, deal with he rest. It’s a perfectly valid way of playing and honestly could happen from anyone, but ladd did lead a kill on a villager d1, leading to some others possibly being willing to let him live, get heat, be wrong etc. but some wolf players believe you don’t give a good player multiple chances and I think achro is someone like that who would kill ladd and not think twice because that’s just the way you do it. My 2c.
