unrelatedly i do think winstons posting this game is pretty LACKING but ive only seen them play once and i was wolfing against him and felt like "who the hell is this guy and why are his reads so good" so im PROBABLY not going to do anything with this yet

I'll forgive your forgetting, but by this point in the game you're thinking about, I'd posted even less of substance than I have here.

Come to think of it, even when I did start getting into it (100+ posts in the last 6 hours of the day lol), I'm not sure my reads were all that either. I just looked ballsy because I was drunk and smart because I got lucky picking ladd (who, I must mention, seems quite different here).

Right now, my main question is, with eod in 7 hours, how early is too early to mix my first martini?

Ah yes the replies. I looked at that thread before but manually forgot about it since I only played once. Okay cool. Tbh not bad that I will only be capped for like an afternoon. But also not surprising that I will be capped lol.

Anyway 12 players let's see.

Town people in order of confidence roughly
Ender - like their world view a lot, feels chill and I can buy that they think self righteousness is a town tell for me generally (it is not it is mood dependent but this observation makes sense from the games he has played with me).

Taffy - I am. Fucking literal GOD at reading into votes on me being suspicious vs not and this slot is NEVER A WOLF. Phrased this way for maximum funny if wrong but until proven otherwise I trust my read on that because fr I am good at understanding thread position of myself.
Winston - good vibes. Like the katze sus because it felt solvey to me
Cuth - had a post I really liked earlier but I forget what now. But I will trust early Chris.
Ladd - chill vibes, like most of their thoughts we shall see if he leads us off a cliff.
Cape - god help me I think he is town at this point but not confident. Lots of talk about him being scummy tho so maybe a little thread spewed. Not sure not usually my type of read.
Insomnia - not much experience with this one but seems alright to start.

Katze - not feeling the MOJO but also willing to see what they come up with. Probably not bussing given reputation so if they bag a wolf today probably ok
Visor - I remember nothing
Neb - I remember nothing but felt compelled to put them here
Dya - starting to get bad vibes but nothing definite
Sk - see many posts above, but basically I don't think that wall post was wrll thought out and genuinely solving the game from an uninformed perspective. Felt like he was placing chess pieces instead of trying to form reads. Want to hear from him tho because it could be a simple misunderstanding on my end.

but im just not buying most / any of his reads. doesn't exactly feel like a perspective i'd have if i were to be wagonned in a game of this caliber

if you want a particular bad point, i kinda don't like that he seems to give people voting him leeway and focusing on people that are not stating much about him / semi-defending him, like he called out benneh for saying he was ~fine and mostly a guess. feels like a perspective a wolf would hold because they'll justify to themselves being wolfy (so they can't call out people voting them) and he had quite a lot of commentary imo

idk, he's in a game with good villagers, and he isn't calling anyone voting him out?

he feels too chill about it in a way that i can't really justify

i wouldn't have minded this so much until he just dropped the read on me later when he was grocery posting. initially it felt like he had a good reason to wolf read me and we'd see 'a case' and i'd have a better chance to read him off that but then he just let the read on me go.

i'm not really sold on his visor read either. visor could be a wolf but its prob not for a random shitpost linking cape with ahcro and ... dya? i think it was

thinking i am mafia for being self conscious is reasonable but i assure you it is just a thing i am. its kinda amusing that the people who've seen me play the most are the people who townread me tho (i think, cant rly tell if insom is there yet but it felt like he was)

regarding taffy, ive been kinda sitting on my read on them all game because i've not really agreed that their push on achro was CLEARING (altho if hes a wolf it might be lol) but it seemed like everybody was comfortable clearing them for it and they seemed to be the player itg who had the highest odds of getting yeeted d1 prerand and i didnt rly want that to happen unless they were actually mega wolfy (hence why i answered taffy to the achro "veto a yeet today" thing)

earlier i thought there was good odds achro was a wolf which in my mind would probs clear them and/or taffy was just kinda threadspewed town + i do believe their posting is ~villagery to some extent

he's just kind of falling flat rn. Town benneh usually does more solving and I havent seen that here. That said, wolf benneh tries to lead more and he's not doing that either. So I'm not super confident but he's not doing enough for me to v read him and if i don't v read him, he's more likely to be a wolf

my impression on how benneh wolfs/villages is a bit different than yours dya but i expect that to be a difference in beliefs more than a difference in alignment between us, but for example i thought the way he brought up taffy to be fairly villagery for him regardless of taffys alignment; i strongly doubt it's w/w and if taffy is a villager i feel like benneh wouldn't be the wolf to try to push them back into contention when he did. plus i just think he has villagery tone lol its probably not that simple with him but so far it hasnt rly failed me
