Excamunicatoin is unfairly used!

Franch has been at war with German for 57 years and now Poland for 2 and they have yet to be excamunicated. I took one province from Poland becasue its falling and I had got warning, its ok because I wont be going for anymore soon but come one Now Frenhc is at war with England to, will someone get excamunicated so I can send crusades

The pope was never a fair man. He isn't excommunicating leaders out sense of justice. It's a diplomatic weapon. He's clearly allied with the French and uses the threat of excommunication to ward off any who would oppose the French.

See if the pope is getting old. If he is, use the opportunity to make gains from the French, take the excommunication and wait for the pope to die.

If it's justice you seek, then don't play MTW.

I'd go further : if you seek justice, don't play politics or war... MTW is an image of that. Unfair. Yes. It is unfair to get excom while trying to get off an embargo. It is unfair not to be able to be big without being attacked from everywhere. It is unfair not to have anti-cav as the Byz(spearmen are useless).

But life is unfair too. MTW is unfair, and it adds to the challenge. Two thumbs up.
