    Who's misyeet bait?

    I didn't read pocket accepted as a town read; I read it as yay song twinsies. Although I might not have questioned it even if I thought it was that.

    also that read on me seems poorly constructed. the wagons on rask and monty began after I specifically pointed them out as being wolfy. surely if you wanted to push me for my reads, it'd be for stagnation, not opportunism, which is the argument you could make for everyone else voting them

    but it doesn't really parse anyway since you throw in a certainty that both rask and monty are misyeet bait while neither of them make it onto your limited town list

    but it could also be a nothingburger from a villager who hasn't read anything except a vote tally and likes tying wagons

    I have more reasons to like everyone else tho (even if that reason is simply "didn't do that")
    Most disliked post.

    i don't have a lot of experience with monty besides getting stomped in a game on CFC years ago, but I associate his analytical approach with genuine solving, and I don't feel there is genuine solving involved here. they're smart-sounding posts for the sake of appearing smart. there isn't really much you can do on d1, tbf, but that's why you just go with vibes instead of milking a rock for all it's worth

    People say this every game.

    @Gemma

    This forum allows timer tags.

    Phase ends:

    The format is demonstrated with brackets broken to avoid triggering:

    Code:
     [ TIMER=1:00 AM UTC,10/28/23;EOD 1 ] EOD 1 [ /TIMER ]
    When this timer runs down it will display the string "EOD 1", forevermore. I added that string both wrapped by the tags and within the lead tag, because I don't remember atm which approach works, or if they have separate functions.

    How did rask lean extremely hard into a town read on you?

    I want to ask you more about your expectations on Monty's analytical approach and how it matches up here, but I'm not sure there's more to explain with what's here. But if you have more, I'd love to hear it. I can't make up my mind on whether or not I think Monty is scum or if I'm just confused by him.

    Is your homesite the syndicate? I think I've specced some games with syndicate people and enjoyed their approach. I wish I could remember the names; it's been a long time.

    You pointing out your wolf tells here and there is endearing. Not sure if it's alignment indicative, but I enjoy it nonetheless.

    nothing from tammy has seemed AI yet (maybe feeling the desire to explain her playstyle is a touch wolfy? but i'm not going there today anyway)

    leaving me with ender, i guess?

    though it feels like this is just gonna be a game where i struggle to have strong reads (like every other game)
    Is Monty hard to read in general?

    I expected to get called out for that actually! It's more important to me that people don't end up confused today and I get some suspicion for explaining it than the alternative. (Sadly enough I think I'm probably out of my scum range. At least I think I am; I haven't drawn scum in years and I expect that to be a terribly obvious showing when I do. Hope not though!)

    Why ender? Is that implying you scum read him or would be willing to vote him or is that just spitballing thoughts? (Oh you vote him later, so I guess it's an actual scum read.) I think he's town are you saying my tone read sucks?

    Nope, this is not allowed. I joined this game specifically to play with you and you are not allowed to leave night one!

    I like Ladd's posts, nothing groundbreakingly town in them, but I get that feel nonetheless.

    Monty - when you say that you are bracing to humiliatingly misread Ender, do you usually scum read them when town or town read them as scum?

    (Man I hate posting like this.)

    No, I was able to townlock him ride or die midgame our last play together, though it didn't save us in the end. So it would be embarrassing to MR him.

    Is that you agreeing your hard to read?

    What is your read on him so far this game?

    Considering sheeping Jan.

    Thanks a lot. I don't really feel like I have a strong stance at this moment.

    Inclined to kill a low-hanging fruit because a quarter of the game is not really playing so far.
    And I don't have a confident wolfread.

    This is not fun, but keeping dead slots around is also not a real option. (Plus I likely won't make EoD)

    ... no? lol

    this is weirdly defensive - the read i made was not strong in any sense

    Same. I was considering voting Monty but his more recent posts have me feeling like maybe I'm confused by him rather than I scum read him. Don't know.

    heh that was meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek. I mean I am interested in your read and whether or not I should even take my tone read seriously, but I'm not feeling defensive about it. I am feeling really hyper and punchy at the moment though! I blame all the coffee I drank on an empty stomach while grading midterms; I don't usually drink coffee and right now it feels like there's a ping pong tournament going on inside my head.

    Not sure what else you want me to say about a no poster, but I’d already stated I was thinking about voting him and Jan responded. I’m not sure what kind of fanfare I’m supposed to have on a no poster I didn’t have a read on but sure that’s an argument I guess

    I don’t know all of this feels like I struck a nerve, and your response is to fling shit to see if it sticks.

    ~~~
    If you guys don’t allow no kills here then my concern might be wrong outside of exactly a visor/syn pairing where they got the no vest, shot Monty for the night kill to use as a big shot when it came time to claim but that feels too tricky. I’ve never seen a no kill disallowed though.
    I’m sorry it just registered that you posited I’d make that vote in a sleep me pairing because I’d get late game cred if I knew I had to solo the game and I’m
    You’ve gravely insulted sleep and I think you should apologize.
    I probably shouldn’t find this as funny as I do, and maybe it’s the lack of sleep (not player) but I can’t stop giggling over imagining this. Outside of being in a hydra with someone competent, even at my most confident as scum, which was never great, I never day one thought I would go deep. So imagining me thinking this in a team with sleep of all people, yeah I’m just gonna carry this with me throughout the day. Poor deadbeat scum player sleep carried by super scary Tammy RAWR. lol thank you.
    I've seen No Kills allowed but tbh would be surprised to see anyone do that N1.
    I'd consider it more likely that Syn fake-claimed the shot.
    Have you seen anything concerning from syn? Is the way they’ve gone after Rask normal for them?
    I do find it funny that when I read up and start to doubt my solve because Sui posts a wallpost that I kinda liked the content of Visor is now agreeing with it.
    I think Rask exists in that weird space where he's very sus and continues to be sus but I think is probably town.
    Yes this is a dumb read but I'm sticking to it. The back and forth EOD yesterday just felt town.
