Yes, it is possible to change the language on the Steam version. Simply right-click on the game in the Steam menu, and go to the properties menu. There you will find the languages available.

Problem is, that my language (Czech) is not in Steam languages. But I have Czech version Medieval Total War GOLD on DVD. But there is problem to launch it, because of Windows 11. Steam version has patches for modern systems, but no my language files. And there is no file (files) with language pack.
I answered myself. It is needed to copy folders Loc (Czech language) and MonoFont (Czech fonts) from Czech GOLD Edition of the game to Steam game directory and override them.
