How to turn on autosave?

Hello.

Getting random ctds when looking at Turks Peninsula. Quite punishing if I may add.

So how to turn autosave back on? This Forum search is too complex for my brain.

You have to edit the eb2.cfg file, I think it's change 0 to 1 on the autosave line, but I understand it causes some CTD and save corruption in its own right. I just Ctrl-S frequently for quick save and got in the habit of it before I hit next turn or after I do anything big like a large battle, unit combining and reorganizing etc. Ive not had any problems with quicksaves being corrupt.
