    Genuine question - when?

You said this pretty definitively ("legitimately wrong") but I'm not sure what you're referring to tbh.

I don't claim to be some Logic god-reader, mostly because I wouldn't claim that about anyone

    1. people can and do change [insert sloppy steaks gif]

    2. I've played so infrequently over the last few years that it would be silly for me to claim 100% accurate knowledge of someone's play and my ability to read it

    3. I generally dislike appeal to authority / trust me bro reads anyway. if I think I have a good read then I should be able to convince you by explaining why it's good on its own merits.

But I truthfully have no idea what Logic is referring to here, I don't think I have actually been wrong on him in a game before (or at least not in the way being implied) but it's a relatively small sample size. Maybe he is remembering someone else doing that and mistakenly attributing it to me. Maybe I'm forgetting some game from years ago I was wrong, I dunno. Calling me suspicious because I should read you better (what posts are you making that i should townread you for anyway? most charitably it's a bunch of d1 fluffposting) and in the same breath implying my read carries little weight because it's unreliable is kind of incredible, and does make me a bit dubious about the genuineness of your read on me.

I guess it doesn't really matter, but the way it was presented rubbed me the wrong way and didn't seem on the level.

I'd say benneh and Jan are the closest things I have to a townread, I've generally liked their posts and where and how they've poked.

Arctic/Gemma/Hally/Murska/Rask/Syn is this big pile of people I think are ~fine but have no true read on.

GH, Vanta, Visor, and Wisdom are true null, none have really done anything readable.

Ender and ladd seem a bit wolfy, I've already touched on this some for each and am far too lazy to repeat myself. Basically they've just made posts that made me go "oh, I didn't like that" / seemed like agenda pushing rather than genuine thoughts.

dya's posts honestly just seemed rough to me and felt reminiscent of their wolf game, they didn't do much other than the GH read which I disliked. Their response to me felt like trying to get me off their back, I thought the post about benneh wanting them to be a wolf was weird. Still plenty of time but yeah.

I've already talked about Logic a good amount, but if they're a villager I dont get what he's doing because he looks how he plays when he's a wolf so far. Posts feel forced and missing the purposefulness behind his solving when he's town. His suspicion on me just doesn't feel real ngl, it's also kind of incoherent and confusing which is not something I associate with him as a villager at all. Again, plenty of time to change and I think Logic is usually a fairly obvious villager once he gets going, so we'll see, but early signs not looking croggers.

Should be everyone, any gaps in my reasoning assume the answer for why I feel that way is "vibes".

    Out for awhile.

Skimmed the last few pages (on phone, so I don't know how much info I actually absorbed).

    - GH hasn't done anything AI yet, applause to Zack for acknowledging that
    - Boo to Zack for the Logic tunnel. I think Logic is town.
    - Both of these makes me kinda gut read Zack as villager too though.

    - Ladd vibes town. There was a post someone called tryhard/wolfy that I just found inherently towny. That kind of contrast feels towny though, "someone" is probably town. I'll check out who before going to work.

    Morning

Ended up being sick enough to justify calling out of work today, so at least there are some silver linings

Logic's read on me doesn't super make much sense but honestly I think he came about it in a town way, it's just so far out there lol. Like before I called it a night last night I was anticipating dropping a vote on him at some point during the day with an attached "sorry about the rand" type of comment to go with it but I think he may have avoided that fate, idk. Further elaboration pending further developments

Wisdom probably pinged me the most, think it boils mostly down to "feels" but there's probably something tangible in there I could talk about were I able to gin up the energy to

I'm going back to sleep now

First sentence is you, rest turned out to be about Zack.

I found the timing of Logic's "X is usually good at reading me" to imply a towny perspective, I could probably flesh it out better when I'm not phoneposting but that's the core vibe at least.

re dya, i think thats just kinda a part of their gme now, i see it a lot d1

re logic, yeah opening sucked, but i was rereading a game i played where he was a wolf and i was a villager hard townreading him cause he gave a bunch of like faux effort (and tbh that first post was like straight out of that game lmao) and i think i will just let him do his thing for now and revisit later

I don't remember a specific game, but I do remember you being among the voices pushing me out, and I flipped town. I also distinctly remember you saying at several points in the past (mostly in #spec-chat) something to the effect of "Logic is an easy read" or "Logic is transparently town, until he's not, then he's wolfing." To which Visor, GH, and I believe Ladd all agreed.
