Thread: Disable elections when no heir.

Question Disable elections when no heir.

    Hi,

Is it possible to disable elections for faction when they have no male heir? I specifically mean Holy Roman Empire - I mostly play with my economy, and I'm buying armies or rebels instead of declaring wars. I have Assassin on 8 level but everytime I successfully assassinate HRE Emperor, they just elect a new one instead of becoming rebels :(

    Welcome to the Org!

The Holy Roman Empire is unique, it is the only playable faction which elects the faction leader and cannot be eliminated via failed lineage. This is hardcoded to the HRE faction, I do not believe there is a trivial way to mod it out. The Papacy will be similiar, but all the other factions are fair game!
