The "lmao" read is the second thing I've seen from Waza that made me think "this is a performative read to look like he's thinking in depth" so let's apply pressure

I will say that he has expressed similar reads in other games (and town read me for them) so I don't think it is super out of his wheelhouse, though admittedly I suppose it depends how you feel about it in general

After talking with lissa last game about needing to be more concrete and confident about expressing reads I am trying to do that here.

1. I think Waza's approach thus far is more likely to come from wolf Waza. I think there are posts made here to look villagery rather than to express opinions on alignments. This distinction is one that I struggle to articulate all the time but in this case it amounts to I believe villa Waza would have more succinct reads that he would expand upon if asked or needed while instead we have more elaborate "getting from point a to point b for a read" posts. Both the one about Rask and the one about Ladd's "lmao" both strike me as posts designed for people to look at and say "wow good thought process Waza, you're really thinking intricately about the game so you must be a villager" rather than for waza to just be spitballing early reads.

Caveats of it's mid day 1 in a chill mostly rvs game so far and I am allowed to change my mind in the future apply.


2. Vanta's post about it looking like Visor is trying to chain something together and he doesn't like it is villagery for the exact same reasons I find Waza's posts wolfy. I look at it and say "wow good thought process Vanta, you're really thinking intricately about the game so you must be a villager". Werewolf is a stupid game and I am able to hold these two thoughts simultaneously.

Vanta is probably the most commonly miskilled player here (after taffy), cape plays here with regularity and knows this and knows that vanta will inevitably get heat because they don't post in a way that people typically find villagery (Regardless of vantas alignment)

A basic level of villager self awareness should understand this and even though they may find some early stuff from vanta wolfy, given the fact this is an extremely common miskill you just let it sit for a bit, because the odds are that you're not even reading into the right things and you can give them more rope to hang themself without ruining the measurement by interfering

it just strikes me as something done to do something in that if you already have that assumption, you just throw down a push early and provide some future benefit to both of you when one of you inevitably flips

I don't like making w/w reads this early with any seriousness but this just says to me w/w

Fwiw waza it has happened in a MU game Visor was hosting last month. Vanta got shrugged chopped D1. Cape played that game iirc.

I didn't really get your push on me until you explained the Vanta thing which seems to be in its own world seperate from just pushing me because I had an early readslist.

I moreso trust my towncore anyways early on then my ability to find mafia early from like 1 and a half pages, not that anyone is strongly wolfy even still with 6 pages of the game but to be fair it's like 30 posts per page

This is a lot of not accurate stuff. Rask has been busy as town or wolf and it rarely impacts how he goes about the next game. I do like this read even tho I think it's silly.
