Now i'm playing as the germanes. And i just want to stay home and build my tech tree. But the Almohads have killed off the french and build an army next to my borders. I had to match the army build up, and in the process went proke. I allied with the english, and both of us pushed the almohads back to Morocco. They egyptians are killing them in Africa. Now i don't want any of the territory that i've gained from this war. I want to retreat back to germany, but i'm afraid that the province will provide will have loyaltist revolts, and give almohods more troops. If i leave a small garrison in the province, then the english will start a war.
Is there anyway to make the province revolt and make sure that they aren't loyalist?

This may be "cheesey", but you can place 10 or more spies in a province(spy rush).
This will incite a revolt, and keep you free to worry about other things.
Also, I'd destroy any buildings or upgrades in the province(slash n' burn).
You wouldn't want to give your enemies any free gifts.

    I'm sorry, you're right.
The spy rush only works in other factions provinces.
I got mixed up; what was I thinking?

If you're going to abandon a province , then just abandon it.
    Don't worry about loyalist revolts.
Remember to destroy the existing infrastructure.
This will make it harder for other faction to build the province back up quickly.

You could also wait some turns, maybe 10 or more. and then set taxes to high, disband any garrison and let the provinces revolt. Usually they won't be loyalists then, but simple rebels.

Or if you abandon it, leave the castle there and put a TINY unit inside it. Something like 10 men. And then the enemy loyalists will have to siege it for a LOONNNNNNNGGGGGG time. They probably wont assault it - they never do.
