This question is more for those familiar with the game’s mechanics though all should feel free to respond. I have been wondering what exactly makes this game tick. What causes the computer to form alliances, attack neighbors, choose which one enemy over another, which troops and building it constructs, and so on. If I am a Catholic faction allied with the pope will other Catholic factions be more willing to ally with me or defend my provinces when they are under attack? I this information is available and can be modified I feel it would make the game better to increase the likelihood of some events while decrease the likelihood of others. I would like to see my allies aiding me more often against a common enemy while not being as inclined to betray me en mass when I become to powerful.
