I am on 56k, back on STW I couldn't handle 2v2 (had a 700 and appropriate supporting hardware) because of the modem speed, 1v1 was OK - but I couldn't trust myself in 2v2 not to go out of synch...

but go for it - 1v1 and (if you are lucky, some people manage it) 2v2 are great fun...but as mith says - you need a cool name
