What do you think about it?
You could make your own units with it,and replace factions with it.Without having to dig trough the codes in the Crusader_unit11 file and the build stuff.
    Example

    Finnish Woodsmen
    TYPE:Infantry
    ATTACK:Good
    Speed:Fast
    Armor:low
    Morale:low
    AttackType:ArmorPiercing
    Required buildings:Fort
Trained at:Finland,Sweden.(can select Everywhere here,or add several provinces)

    or a new faction?

    FactionName:The Scottish
    King:King Robert I
    Flag:Scottish
    Provinces:Scotland,Northumbria

    What do you think?=)

    Sounds great
    how does it work?
This is an idea some other
    people were thinking about.
    The exact dynamics are still
not known yet.So if you know
how do this well that would
    be a big help

Certainly something that could be done. It really depends on the functionality you want it to have. Making a simple C, VB or Java program that edits a few text files is not so hard. The problem really comes from the fact that you need someone who can do that, understands the format of the files and is willing to spend the time doing it and changing the format is a subsequent patch effects it.

I may look into it myself, but don't expect me to overcome my terminal laziness anytime soon.

OMG THAT would be a brilliant idea If someone could do that it would make the job of modding much easier for those of us like me who tend to get all bollocked up changing unit stats
(well there's at least one of us out there who would see this as a godsend).
I never had this much trouble in grad school.
Yours was not at first a criminal nature. At 10 you stole sugar,at 15 you stole money,at 25 you committed arson. At 30,hardened in crime, you became an editor. Worse yet is in store for you. You will be sent to Congress, then to the penitentiary. But,all will be well. You will be hanged.

    What a great idea

I would love the chance to be able to create my own factions and units. (Oh how i long for a Scotish empire )

I'm afraid i don't have a clue how to do it, but if any of you ever so clever people out there do, I will be Very greatful

It would be great to see this in a new mod.

    thanks
