Half an army

I got a strange one here. I'm running MTW 1.1 for a while now, no problem (appart for the painful NVidia bug) and suddenly I will only get half an army produced.
I tried various campains, aeras and nations without difference. If I build spearmen that used to come with 100 men, now they only come with 50. Militia guards with 60 now come as 30.
I did reinstall the whole game and reapplied the patch, but it is still doing this.

are you sure you didnt tamper with the nuit size opptions?

Welcome to the Org mviertel Although this is a halfway house (or sorts) for new patrons, I haven't half a notion as to what your half unit problem is. The others may be onto something though. Have you monkeyed with any of the files or install any mods?

i got the same thing the first time i tried hard difficulty setting and i thought that was wat made it hard but after going on to expert my units whent back up to full men.

dunno why but i didnt realy notice it mutch until u mentioned this aswell.

So I should try to start a campain in expert and it should go back to normal. I'll try that. Sounds like a bug to me ...
