Can someone explain to me the difference between morale and valor? And, how does it affect battles?
You guys actually fight the battles?

Valor is training or experience. It is how capable the troops are (each point adds +1 attack and +1 defense and +2 morale).

Morale is how willing the troops are to follow your orders (or even stay in formation). This is effected by things such as how terrified they are of the enemy (makes for lower morale) or how much they love your leadership or trust you (makes for higher morale).

Troops with low enough morale rout. This means they are either so terrified of the enemy, or do not trust your leadership enough to stay and fight (or both).

Troops with better discipline/training will stay in control under more stressful situations (thus the + to morale for higher valor).

    I have a similar question:

What's the difference between + command and + morale? Does + command give your troops valor and + morale on a general just give your troops more morale?

It seems that high valor troops take longer to rout and low valor troops route at once. (I had a whole army in multiplayer run within 30 second of the game start much to my chagrin) It also appears that high command in a general is preferable to virtues that give + morale.

Basically yes. Remember that 1 point of valor gives +2 morale. And every 2 stars on a general gives +1 valor for every unit in the army.

Having a higher amount of command would be better over just a morale boosting V&V because of the plus given to attack a defense by valor. So the troops have higher morale AND kill more easily AND don't die as easily (those last two will add even more to morale because your troops will win more).

Morale is an attitude of confidence or enthusiasum.
    Valour is bravery.
A general with a high command rating will improve the valour of his troops in battle. This will in turn improve the morale of the troops in battle.
Together these two factors can be the difference between victory, and defeat in battle.
