I guess that picture could be of Constantinople as the final assualt began at 01:30 on 29the May 1453.

just by looking at the walls you know its Constantinople..
im not seeing anything that makes me think thats the fall of constantinople.
all i see is a wall sum dudes the sea, NO flags depicting wat factions, its just a general pic for a siege.

British Army: be the best
The Theodosian walls are pretty distinctive, note the two bands of red bricks. The pic is a tad romanticised however. Reminds me of the 1930s kids history books my grandmother gave me.
Oh Yea the Byzantines also had some Genoese warships on their side. 3 in all I believe. That was the only help they had from Europe.

Designed a map based on the fall of Constantinople, doing final testing at the moment (it's somewhat large)...will post when finished.
