As far as I have seen you will not get reinforcements in mp.

No more than 16 units in multiplayer online.
However, King of the Hill is very amusing. As units die or rout, they ressurrect and come back as reinforcements.
It is a clickfest of run, run, run to the circle on the hill in the middle of the board.
