    Wink

    No crusades can use port.

Moreover having a large fleet can have the following side effect: all crusades launched by the AI cross your land in order to catch the next ship to Jerusalem ...

Boy do I feel dumb for building a chapter house on an island...

Is there any way to disband the crusade? Or will I just have to wait?

There is no way to disband a crusade (would be too tempting to do so once a crusade is doomed in order launch a new one).

You just have to wait or bring some ship close to the island so you will be able to start moving (you'll probably have no more than a few peasants left in your crusade before you have the equipment to do so).

The mere building of an useless chapter house is not that bad since it only costs something like 500 florins and since you can postpone the launching of any crusade you have already built until you have the necesssary infrastructure.

But I agree that at the beginning of the game 500 florins for the chapter house, 1,000 florins for building the crusade and whatever the pope asked to give his benediction can be an heavy burden when youn need all the cash you can spare
