i just started playing shogun we. very cool game... the stuff is kinda overwhelming (both to my eyes and my comp). Since for now this is the only place i can post i just wanna ask u guys som qs:


after ~5 hrs of playing i decided that i was experienced enough to tackle hard mode for a nice killing spree. everything worked out just fine when i took over the western jp untill i finally met the green daymio (shimazu i think) and now he has like 5k+ units marching into my territories. the sad part of this is that i tried to cheat but couldnt get the cheat code .prototypearmy. to work...is there a patch somethn i need to update? thnx

Well firstly Welcome to the ORG SEA

There are always patches you can get to fix as many bugs as possible. These can be downloaded right here from the ORG. Check the downloads section for WE.

Secondly, if you want strategy help then just head to the Sword Dojo. It is full of experienced gamers of STW and WE who are more than willing to help out a fellow comrade of the game.

Thirdly, cheating will unfortunately get you no-where my friend. Although it can give a short buzz when you have great strength, as the old proverb says Cheaters never prosper. So in short I suppose I am saying try sticking to an easier level until you get the hang of it, then head on into Hard level and see how you fare. If at first you don't succeed try try again. (What is it with these proverbs today?&#33

Which game did you get? The original Shogun Total War (red box) or the Warlords Edition (black box with Mongol campaign included)? That will determine which patch you have to download.

Tell us specifically what your problem is with the Shimazu (green) army. I'm going to guess you can't beat that large army. Is there something specific about the Shimazu army (unit or tactics) that beats you? Which clan are you?

If you give us a little more to go on, we can get you on the path to victory.
