    Sure... (=

If im not wrong, this is the one were all ur archers/crossbowmen and some spears are standing far away from all your horses and one unit of spears right?

If its so, then its actually a pretty easy battle... (=

Just get the horses to run down to protect ur archers... have them to charge into the the enemies from flanks/behind if you can...

use the one unit of spearmen to distract the troops around ur horses... (loose formation, and charge into something closeby... to hold up forces here so u can beat the larger force which is further away)

WATCH ur archers/crossbows.... you can`t loose 60% of your troops, so keep them away from the enemy

When your horses have killed lots of troops downstairs, bring them togheter and place your archers/crosbows behind them for their own protection...

if you have some spearmen left, use these to charge into enemies horses....

The next battle you come to is actually a bit funny... tell me if you can`t find the easy soloution yourself, and ill give ya a 100% success way of winning it...(=

The trick on this battle is to use one unit as bait so u dont have to deal with then whole enemy army at once...and th key to all victories...kill their generals.

Xicote>>> Wanna give me some advice how to do the Loire Valley?

haha.. now it seems everyone is finally starting to play the campaigns.
Barbarossa is really easy. If you don't feel particularily heroic and/or skilled, remember to use the pause button. it can do wonders. Also use speed of your cavalry.

Ryttare, Loire Valley, I got a good advice from Hakonarsson, destroy the backside of the castle with siege weaponry, then storm all you units in from that direction, you only have to outnumber the defending forces by 100 once inside the castle, so if you rush all in, you will achieve this victory condition easily.

Yeah, as Brutal said... break down their walls...

just kill off two walla, while your forces is pulled back from their arrows.... then just run all ur force in....

    Hi Arn,

the fifth is that the one where you have to guard your supply train? I haven't played this for quite some time.

If it is, then get your archers up quickly, make them set
up close to the supply train so they can target all incoming units. Sacrifice one or two Mounted Seargents to distract their cavalry , bring all your other troops up the hill and fight everyone who is approaching. The key again, is the mobility and combat power of your massive knights. Engange, encircle as much as possible, eventually they will chain route. Try to take out their generals as well. If I remember correctly, I defeated the pope's army first...
