WHY on earth cant i post in Main forum?

I just registered my acount and activated it...but when i try to post in the main forum, i just get a message telling me i cant.....

Can any1 tell me what i have to do?

Fly to the moon perhaps?

Welcome to The Org. I'm new here too and like you I can't post anywhere but here yet. You can find the rules at the top of this forum. Basically until you are promoted one level you only post here. However if you want to reply to a post in another forum, just put it here and ask a moderator to cross post it where you want it. I've done that a couple of times already and it works well enough as the mods are good about checking here regularly. Many of the regulars post here too.

After reading trough the whole n00bish rules, i got only 1 thing to say....:

OMFG

Do you have to get promoted by a mod b4 u can contribute to the real boards????

C`mon this is a freaking n00b board half of the posts are about other things than the game

I just wanted to get some help with one question i got (need some reeeeealy good replies), and i can`t, cuz i have to stay here a month or 2 b4 im worthy in the main boards....

Its soooo hillarious..... its not like this is an alliance site were u keep secret info, this is suposed to be the no1 site for the medieval fans

Any1 knows of some other forums were you can post without have to lick up to the mods first?

You don't have to be here that long. I registered like 2 or 3 days ago and I can post on all the boards.

i think having the mods promote patrons is the best thing that ever happened to the org bravo gentlemen... i never saw this post before i decided to help and go make a nice replay of the battle for you...and look...already flaming..well..if my vote counts (which it doenst) i hope its a long time before we see you promoted...and i wish i didnt waste my time helping someone who really didnt deserve it

If you're this abusive as a junior patron, you don't DESERVE to be promoted. I'm suprise any mods who've read this haven't banned you already. This is the best forum about MTW; in fact, it's the best gaming forum, full stop. If you can't be bothered to be polite, contribute and get promoted then you have no right to belong to this wonderfully pleasant and helpful community.

Incornata, you are, of course, free to go elsewhere. The .com boards you so kindly provided a link to have a little different atmosphere than here, but they are a good board too.

As for your and nobody here can answer my question, you gave everyone 18 minutes from posting your question to complaining about not getting an answer. Now, who is being unreasonable? BTW, you got an answer and a replay in less than 2 hours. The many nice people who do frequent these forums are what make this board what it is. They provide 99.99% of the discussion and answers to questions. So when you toss about comments like the above, you are showing disrespect for them. When you are going to ask someone for help, it is a very good idea to be respectful. As FearofNC has demostrated, nobody likes when their efforts to help are not appreciated or are received by the ungrateful.

We've had a number of people who did not care for our registration policy either. However, many of them have come around to seeing its benefits.

As for the content of this forum, all topics are welcome. If you looked more closely, you'd find that the vast majority of posts do have to do with the TW games. We have 2 actual games being played on these forums and a very nice bit of MTW fiction being written by a number of patrons.

Lastly, to be completely honest with you, it is going to take you much more than 5-6 posts or 2-3 days to get a promotion with the attitude you've shown us today. Our forums are considered by many to be quite friendly, and we'd like to keep it that way. I also suggest that if you post at .com with the same attitude you have shown us, I would not expect a pleasant welcome from them even if they do have a no hassle registration policy.

May I suggest we not give Incornata any more grief. I think he might understand us a little better now. No need to belabor the point.
