Having fun eddie? I don't mean to interrupt you from talking to yourself but there are definitely more people playing MTW than STW.

The improvements in MTW from STW are much too long to list. Just a small sampling: better diplomacy, trade, ships, better AI, many more units making each faction different, Glorious Achievement victory conditions, battle replays, and so on.

Again, watch your language eddie. Foul language is not much appreciated here. May I suggest you re-read the forum rules? A link to them is at the top of every page.

BTW, regarding my answer to your question: you're welcome.

Okay. I don't mind being funny, intentional or not.

Regarding the language, we can overlook ocassional swearing, but I've read two of your posts in the last 20 minutes with profanity. I'm just reminding you to ease up on it, okay?

Okay, I think eddie got the idea. He knows he's has to slow down his typing and check his spelling. Right eddie?

Kong what does the study of birds (orthography) have to do with anything?

The study of birds is called Ornithology

    Orthography is, according to dictionary.com,

The art or study of correct spelling according to established usage.

    An ART, a fine ART

I get the impression from his posts that Eddie doesn't speak English as a first language, so maybe we should hold off on the spelling issue. I'd like to see some of us communicate if these boards were in Russian.

It doesn't excuse the swearing, but incorrect spelling from someone using a second language I can live with.

Well I don't even play MP so, I can't really help you there. Of course, there's no real reason for me to be on this thread either so....

In reply to the question posed by our broad minded friend Eddie,

More play MTW, but it is much newer. I have and always will a special place for Shogun. I often prefer it, it felt more elegant, smooth and fluid.

The transitions between screens and modes was more fluid. I liked the animations, music, and voice work better.

Whatever they say about the AI being improved I still think it is tougher in STW. In Shogun I always knew which clan I was fighting by his battlefield style. Almost as good as fighting a human. Then there is the terror I feel when I discover an AI is has built a geisha house.

That said I still love and will continue playing MTW, and with a smile.

    At least until Rome arrives....

Boy... was that fun... those geisha units where the supreme unit. Wich is funny since its not even a battle unit, but could win you a war real quick...

About the spelling stuff... Natural english speaking people sometimes forget that english is a language amongst thousands. For one to make the effort of communicating in your native language should not be received with Loookk he made a spelling error , he must be intelectually inferior... .

And i've had my share of this situations, so i know...
When this happens on a chat situation i usually invite the guy to continue the discussion in another language, wich has the possibility of spelling mistakes for both side: Portuguese, spanish, french... please. I usually get a blank answer.

Almost forgot, sorry if i have some spelling mistakes in my post, hope it doesn't damper comunication too bad.
