I know you all have heard this a million times and think what an idiot that guy is, but I seemed to have lost my CD-key and I have no idea what the hell to do about it. I need some major help with this one. If anybody has any suggestions other thango shoot yourself in the head I would like to hear them and would be very much grateful for them.

    1) find the manual , its written on the last page, where could a whole manual hide?
    2) go shoot yourself in the head

    Greetings HighTechRedneck. Love the name.

The CD key, may be on the last page of the manual as raso said, or it could be inside your CD jewelcase right under where CD #1 sits.

If you have it in neither place, then I'm afraid you are out of luck. You could try to contacting Activision, but they have stated that they don't have extra CD keys to give out. Your only hope would be to get another copy of MTW or get Viking Invasion when it comes out.

    Good luck.

Nope. We don't do that here. Period. Sorry.

Maybe you missed the Forum rules when you registered:

...Posts containing addresses of warez sites or anything piracy-related; note that this includes hacks designed to enable Shogun: Total War or Medieval: Total War to run without a CD. The administration is aware of the fact that some use a no-CD hack for the perfectly legal purpose of enchancing their system performance, but we feel that the possible illegal benefits from these hacks outweight the legal ones. Anything pertaining to software piracy is in general highly discouraged....

In fairness Knight_Yellow it does happen, accidentally. When Mongol Invasions came out, the wife tossed what she thought was 'yet another empty cd-case, just laying around' in the trash. Never found it; bought another. My fault.

However; soliciting a CD-crack is specifically verboten here. Has been for years. So, in a few hours, when HTRedneck has a chance to see this, this post will go away.

How is the Land of the Scots today K_Y?

Oh, sorry, I must've missed that part when I was read them. It was a late night that night as I recall. Anywho, the way it got lost was my comp. is over at a friends house because I only have a 56k here and he has DSL there and we are avid Counter-Strike players. Well his mom is a freakin' packrat and will proactically save everything. However, she is always moving things around that don't need to be moved. So my best guess is the the case is lost in the dark void that is all of her junk that she won't throw away.

Funny, I have the opposite problem. My 2-year-old took disk 1 out of the drive on my desktop and lost it, and I went without playing for a month even though I had disk 2 and the CD Key. Tired of not being able to play, I bought another copy. Of course, not more than a week after buying a new copy, my 5-year-old finds the first one.

Now, instead of sharing between my desktop and my notebook, I got a copy for each. Shhh.... No one tell my wife that I spent $80 for 2 copies of the same game.
