Alright, since the AI does lack a bit sometimes certain challenges or guidelines help to make things a bit more fun. Heres some i'm currently using and ideas i've had for others.
Currently:
1:Only Knights may hold titles.
2:Titles cannot be revoked except by death of title holder.
3:Titles MUST be assigned within 10 years of title becoming available.
4:No reloading at all.
-Thats i'm following currently, has changed the gameplay a little and made it more fun in some ways, heres some I haven't tried yet.
Future?:
1:Peasant Militia, armies must consist entirely of peasant levys such as peasants/woodsmen/etc... No professional soldiers at all.
2:Birth of a military genious, take a unit with no command up to the max command level.
3:Keep it in the family, no marriages with outside factions and all Kings married to your own princess.(A bit odd I know, but I wonder what a few generations of inbreeding would do to a royal family, especially considering how messed up they get without it.)
4:Landlubber, no ships allowed at all.
5:Rebelious Tendencys, force yourself to have and recover from rebellions every 2 or 3 reigns.
6:Good catholic, always answer the call to crusades, never attack catholic neighbors, and put relegion as the target for development in any given province.
7:One trick wonder, armies must consist entirely of the same troop type.
8:Crusader/Jihader, convert all of the map to Islam or Cahtolicism.
9:Paranoid King, allow no ruler more then 10 years in office before removing the title through whatever means necessary.
10:Utopia, only tax level allowed is very low.
Thats all I can think of right now, some might be fun while others are just their for kicks. Anyway tell me what you think and post any of your own you have. The only Knights holding titles idea I got from another thread, along with the no reloads(though that one is probably standard for many).
