The Knife....
In CS, I was one of the shadowy, fanatical players who only used the knife. Excellent knowledge of tricks, stealth and the enemy's behavior was gained from this. My personal record was knifing 5 people in one round.
Besides that I would use the M3, TMP, and Para. I liked using guns that had cult appeal.

the TMP - fiveseven combo worked perfectly we won our first match with just the TMP and Mac10 then we got serious and got quite high in clanbase

I don't play CS. Here are some of my favorite guns in Operation Flashpoint.
FN Minimi (US M249 SAW): best for supportive role.
HK G36: my favorite infantry rifle
Colt M4 (SOCOM or with M203): my favorite for spec op.
Steyr AUG owns After that, I would probably take and M4 or AK.

Call me strange but I always had a thing for the MP5 - Navy. Not so much of a speacialist gun like the others but I always found it did the job and was very accrurate.
I was very good with the MP5 I was called an aimbotter because of the amount of headshots I got. They forgot you can actually aim for the head

Why should the MTW forum be taken over for a discussion of Counterstrike?
This is the entrance forum, which is all of the other forums in the Org condensed into 1 forum for folks new to the Org. As such, it comprises the Tavern, which is an off-topic forum. Counterstrike is an off-topic thread. If this was the Main Hall, your remark would be correct and Soly would have a fit, but this topic deserves to be here as much as anything else does.

Gah CS is dodgy and way too out of date. The AUG is the way to go though.
OpFlash is a 1000x better.

been a while since i played CS. But i remember ruling supreme with the Aug.
Anyway, like someone else said. Opflash is much better
Im a major Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear fan..mp5 pdw is the best gun for that. OPF is also a great game but im not quite so good at it. Fave guns there are g36k and dragunov sniper rifle.

I have a question about OPF, it looks really really good. Soon I will have a dsl connection (56k+OPF just don't work), but the mp games I tried, all I could do was pick a role......... I want to give my guy the kit that I want. Is it allrdy possible to competely customise your character?
I LOVE the aug that came with the expansion, but I never been able to select it...........
Currently I am playing raven shield, been a R6 multiplayer addict since the day that rainbow six was released, but OPF could just be better when you think about it. You can control weather, date, time.....it is so impressive, and a lot more realistic.
heh, i'm the OPF mastaWell for SP anyway, i only briefly played MP.
For the mp aspect of the game, i'm afraid you can only pick a class of character ie machinegunner, basic soldier. But once the game starts, if you stumble across any weapon dumps, feel free to pick any at your leisure. I'm sure i found some.
I first found the aug in the russian campaign, in red hammer. You eventually start a mission and the first enemy you see are American aug soldiers, feel free to kill them for. You only keep it for that mission though.
The resistance campaign, yet another addon, once you find it, it gets added to your inventory and you can select it for any mission you want.
Operation Flashpoint is for wusses, real men play either counterstrike, tactical ops (in my opinion an EXCELLENT game) or Soldier of Fortune 2.
OFP is just shooting shadows. YUou dont really get to see them up close

Div Hunter, I have MG pack by ADF and M4 by Fliper (spl?). There is the new US MG pack by Taiwan Workshop, but I haven't had time to check it out yet. There are lots of nice weapon, but I'm afraid that there aren't many good mission makers out there to make use of all of the goodies.

These are all good games, IMO.
I play RS (Rouge Spear and Raven Shield) sometimes at my friend house.
Recently, I'm spending a little time during the weekend playing my cousin's SOCOM. It's too difficult to aim with the controller. I had to hook up keyboard and mouse for better control. Voice commanding is nice.
For me, I'm much better with the open environment such as in OFP. LAN Co-op is currently my favorite.
