I'm playing my second 1530 campaign and it bothers me that Mori has gone missing. What's the deal? Mori was my first and favorite clan, and now they're not even in the 1530 campaign.

I suggest the developers put them back in. Give them Musashi and Harima, add a farm improvements bonus, and let 'em rip.

Anyone else out there miss Mori?

Mori doesn't exist until the 1550 campaign, as I assume it was historically. Glad to be of help.

It would be interesting to know how they disappear and then come back. There must be some sort of story here.

Mori Motonari didn't succeed to the family headship till 1523, when he was 27. At that point, the Mori were fairly small-time landholders.

Montonari then distinguished himself from the Amako and affiliated himself with the Ouchi of Suo, sending his second and third son to make poweful alliances with Yoshikawa of Aki and Kobayakawa of Numata. Eventually the Mori became one the most powerful houses in Sengoku Jidai.

In short, Mori was still no body in 1530s.

Guess by replying to Shiro I am facing a less threat of being kicked out of general discussion and land at history forum

Thanks guys. I gues the X-pack is more historically correct than the original game. Too bad. I would have liked to have played as Mori in the new 1530 campaign.
