    Aren't you guys bored with castle battles? In Fuedal Japan, castles are made to give the attackers a hard time... with a maze-like network of walls, gates, moats, and draw bridges to confuse the attackers (and also trap them into a dead end). In the game, the castle complex is just a building with a square fence on top of a hill... with GATES OPEN!!! Hope they improve on this or maybe map-makers can make a great castle map.

    And why not give the defenders an unlimited supply of arrows? It's their castle after all... they should have a stock room.

    feel free to build your own castle assault map with the map editor and you can have all you desire in it.

    I have to agree Jomni,castle battles could use a little more imaganation.
    I'm waiting to see how they will handle this in Crusaders.
    I'v seen screen shot of Pretorions,and the sieges look quite detailed.
    Have to wait and see?

    Absolutely. Unlimited missiles from the defender seems very reasonable, and definitely very easy to implement. (the code that need to be modify should be very trivial).

    Besieged side suffers casualty from starvation, thus it's only fair to give them an edge to even the odd out.
    Pain is weakness leaving the body.
