Seeing as I don't do speed, I have decided that I am boycotting MI. (Gee I bet the publishers are conerned!) I just thought I'd post here to get an idea of how many others feel the same way as me (I know there are a good few), hopefully I can provoke a sense of 'old skool' solidarity. (See what I did with the 'k' there?)

Most of the issues are to do with multi player. As I only play single player the only one that I don't like is the reenforcement issue. Aside from that this is a great xpack. Well worth the dosh.

The troops don't seem to move that much faster. Certainly not fast enough to alter gameplay, but I usually make good use of the speed slider anyway.

I've only played a sengoku campain so far, can't wait to try the other scenarios. Sounds like the mongol campain needs some balancing though.

Old Skool is the way to go without a doubt. Id say 90 percent of the armies that have beat me in 1v1 Jap vs Jap in Multi consisted of the same army:9 ashi plus 9 guns.

The game, in addition to unit balancing, also needs to say whether or not MP hosts are implementing a time limit
