Does any seasoned players know how I can retrain units? I was told units can be retrained at provinces with advanced structures to give them better stats i.e. legendary armour, improved morale. Also when you click on a unit and look at its stas you will find a line with "no retraining needed". Appreciate any help

    Here we go again!

1 Move unit to relevant province - i.e. one with neccessary facilities.

    2 Select the army

    3 Select training

4 Drag and drop the unit into the next training block.

    Good luck

    To clarify:
When you drag and drop the unit you want retrained it is the unit icon on the bottom of the screen, not the unit on the map.

    I thought it was;
    1) Select the province.
    2) Select training.
    3) Click on unit on map.
    4) Drag Icon from the unit bar on the interface and Drop in the training queue.

I don't think the order matters really.

You can only retrain a unit to full strength in a province which has a dojo where such a unit could be constructed.
(and i assume honour and morale would require the same conditions - clarification anyone?)

You can give armour and or weapon upgrades at any province which has an armoury os swordsmith,
meaning take a 'vanilla' yari sam to a province with a swordsmith and an archery dojo,
drop your yari sam in the training queue and the YS will have the swordsmith bonus.

    One Warning.
Do not move a unit to a province AND drop it into the training queue in the same turn.
    The unit will disappear...
    *puff* - gone...
    (*it's magic*)

The unit doesn't really disappear, it moves back to the province it came from.

BTW, if you put too many in the queue for retraining, the units do disappear.

Yeah, but they should reappear once training is complete. If they don't, it's a bug.
